Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be:

Current high school/home school seniors or college students working toward an under-graduate degree.

A dependent child of and residing with a full-time or regular part-time Vermeer or Wildcat employee.

Unmarried and not planning to be married during the 2013/2014 academic year.

Planning on being a full-time student during both semesters of the 2013/2014 academic year.

Students may locate and submit the application form by visiting the Vermeer Corporation web site (www.vermeer.com) and clicking on Vermeer Extra Mile - Vermeer Charitable Foundation - Scholarships - Apply for Scholarship.

Access to the system may be gained by entering the student's name and their parent's employee number in the appropriate field.

This form will be available December 1, 2012.

This can be submitted on-line. If there is no access to a computer, forms will be
available on the Vermeer Intranet and can be sent to the address below.

Submit three Recommendation Forms (Must use our form - available online)

These forms must be sent to VCF by the people completing the forms. Parents or students should not submit these.

Applicants should ask teachers, professors, guidance counselors/advisors, employers, coaches, youth leader or pastor etc. to fill these out. Family members may not fill out recommendations.

Submit Transcripts, Attendance Records, ACT/SAT scores, & ITED's

Official transcripts must be sent to VCF by the high school or college. Please do not send until the first semester of the current academic year is included on the transcript.

Attendance records must include all four years of high school.

Home school students must provide same documentation as high school and college students (official transcripts and notarized attendance records).

Four year college applicants (studying in a 4 year degree program) must include ACT or SAT scores. ITED (or other state equivalent of standardized testing) scores may also be submitted. Students attending a two year school with intent to transfer to a four year school must also submit ACT or SAT scores.

Trade School and Community College applicants preparing for technical or industrial positions (a 1, 2, or 3 year degree program) need to include ITED (or other state equivalent of standardized testing)scores. ACT or SAT scores may also be submitted.

Students who have transferred from one college to another must provide their transcripts from each college they have attended.
