Vermeer Texas-Louisiana, a market leader in environmental and construction equipment with 11 locations across Texas and southern Louisiana celebrated the grand opening of their newly relocated Lubbock facility with an open house on Friday, April 27th.
Built on approximately ten acres on the southwest side of Lubbock off Slaton Highway, the new location provides greater highway visibility and proximity to many other construction equipment suppliers. The new building boasts six full sized service bays, a larger parts warehouse, state of the art showroom and training classroom. With the additional space, Vermeer will also be able to stock additional equipment and host demonstration and training events at their facility.
Approximately 200 people attended the open house and fish fry held at the new facility. In addition to the team from Vermeer Texas-Louisiana, personnel from Vermeer Corporation and Vactron were on hand to answer questions from customers and introduce new products.
Branch Manager Coy McKay had this to say about the event – “We were extremely grateful for the support our customer base has shown throughout our relocation. The new facility will enable us to better support our customer’s needs across West Texas and we are excited about the opportunities it offers us.”
